Here at Malvern Bank, we recently redefined our core values and landed on 5 simple statements that define who we are and what we strive for as an organization.

We are an education bank

Malvern Bank cares about financial literacy for our youth and community. As an education bank, we develop and present quarterly financial lessons to the students at East Mills Elementary, share useful financial literacy information and resources on our website and with local media, and take the time to give tours of the bank, explaining financial procedures to children. We are an education bank by hiring and training high school students as tellers and bank staff, providing internet safety and fraud information on our website blog, and answering your individual banking questions with honesty and integrity.

We believe in a fun and creative team culture while retaining good people

Whether it’s a golf tournament, a night at the races, spirit week, or a community event, Malvern Bank team members have fun together. We gather together once a month for a team-building workshop. We encourage each other and identify individual strengths with a monthly employee spotlight. The Malvern Bank team is made up of intelligent, caring, and kind individuals who work together to provide a one-of-a-kind banking experience specifically for you, our customers.

We build community to develop and sustain businesses

We are passionate about building community. We sponsor the Malvern Concert Series and Market during the summer, fund several school and children’s activities, and support many organizational events and groups throughout each year. We understand that small businesses are the backbone to any community, so we purchased lunch daily from area restaurants during the shutdown earlier this year; spent countless hours processing PPP loans for customers; and assisted with facilitating business learning opportunities locally.

We evolve our business practices and processes to improve our customer experience. We see the importance of offering our customers online banking and mobile deposit, and regularly update our remote banking capabilities. Malvern Bank is the Official Bank of Dirt Track Racing, and we opened an online division of Malvern Bank: Dirt Track Bank. We finance small businesses and organizations to add vibrancy and an improved quality of life. Malvern Bank invests in our community, our people, and in a better future for generations to come.
